Square and cube roots

Today, square and cube roots have lots of application in various calculations. We, do it in our class room and also in other places for getting the result of various calculations.

One should divide the non-square place by twice the square root of the square place, then subtract the square from the next square place.

[The present method of extracting the square and cube root by division was invented by Aryabhata in AD 476]
